Recently I got into soup, specifically tinned soup as sold in a shop. It is a new thing to me, previously soup was something to be served only before the main course. Now I see it as a value adding utilitarian item perfect for todays modern work place.
Good things about tinned soup:
- can eat cold or hot
- loads of variety
- very good value for money per serving
- low calorific load (this is what I want at this point in time)
- can be drank from a mug
- lots of competition
Bad things about tinned soup:
- Seems very wasteful having a single use metal canister
- Heavy compared to a sandwich
Soup is interesting.
