Day 33 - Done
A busy day.
I spent a lot of time today working on the new version of this website as well as (hopefully) a number of things that had been killing my search engine placement.
As a result, I was late to start everything which in turn meant I was late to start eating.
The water weight is coming off as you can see from the below graph.
I am excited to start training again on Monday. Not so much for the early starts, but for the feeling of getting my shit done before most of the world has dragged their arses out of bed. I am especially looking forward to my metabolism getting a much needed jumpstart. I’ll put my first few weeks of training together tomorrow. It’s been a good year and a half since I’ve done any kind of training and so I know the first few weeks are going to be pretty lame in terms of any performance. It’s really about setting a routine, finding a rhythm and having the ability to stand the barbell when it’s close to freezing.
I’m thinking of doing 50/50 in terms of running and lifting. Cardio is the one thing that strips weight off me but I also need to build my strength base back up again. I’d never program like this for the long term because it’s silly, but saying as I am getting back into the swing of things and performance will be sucky, I’d rather just get right up in a challenge and beast myself for a few weeks whilst I get through the suck.
